About The Genealogies of Dave and Jan
***** THIS WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION *****

Welcome to the family tree for Dave and Jan (Robertson) Lorenzen and their family. Some ancestors have been found that go back to year 0330 for Dave and 1517 for Jan and we are still searching for others, (NOTE: Some dates in prior centuries are approximate.) Please contact us if you find any errors or can provide any missing information. [We would like to acknowledge the significant contribution of the Lorenzen family data by Richard Wright who has spent much time and resources to research/collect much of this information.]

Dave was born while his parents lived on the Lorenzen farm in Nichols, NY. The family moved to Texas when he was age 4 and to Phoenix at age 9.

Jan was born in Peoria, AZ while her father was foreman of a ranch in the area. In 1950 after several moves, they ended up on 29th Street in Phoenix, next door to the Lorenzen residence.

After a time of dating the girl/boy next door, Dave and Jan were engaged in 1958 and married in 1961. They have 3 sons, 7 grandchildren and 1 step-granddaughter, have lived in the states of Maryland and California (Northridge and Huntington Beach) and are now retired in the home they designed and built at Big Bear Lake, CA.
